I heart cloche's
You can do so many neat things with these wonderful glass cloche's
Leave them empty, fill them, play with them. love them, collect them, look
at them, share them, display them, give them a theme, I could go on and on
Some ideas I have found on the internet to share with you, enjoy these pictures
Fill them with fruit of the season
Use in the bathroom, this one is filled with soap and an antique curling iron
Beatuiful green apples in an old tin piece, brings color to the room
Herbs growing in the kitchen
This one is filled with skeltons-green ones, looks like this might be a cake dome - neat idea
And another neat skelton idea for Halloween
Filled with a spool of twine - love it
For that little bit of country a sheep and a little house
Placed on top of a piece of china, old keys and plate numbers
Love the colors, spools of ribbon
For the holidays, filled with satin balls
Find some cloches and start decorating, there is no wrong or right way to do this, just do it, they
look great in any room, even outside
Enjoy the day

I really like the idea of using one to display soaps.Apothecary jars are the same way. You can put a variety of things inside.
ReplyDeleteLove all your cloches...they are so much fun to decorate with. These displays are great..what a great eye for display and detail you have...Speaking of which, if you get a minute to stop by my blog, I am asking for opinions on a decorating dilemna and would appreciate your input!

I love all the different ways you included decorating with these - I don't have any cloches but two of my friends do. I have quite a few apothocary jars that are filled with sea glass, shells, spheres, and more. You truly make things fun to explore! Jennifer
ReplyDeleteI was at my friend Ann's last night setting up for our antique clients. I showed he your blog and this post - she really enjoyed it. We're all ready for our customers to come and shop....Jennifer
